Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) offers post graduate courses such as Advanced Computing, Embedded Systems and Design and Integrated VLSI and Embedded System Design. Graduation/ post graduation in engineering with 50% marks is the minimum educational qualification. Admission to the courses is carried out on the basis of C-CAT exam.

Eligibility Criterion

Graduation in Engineering subjects or IT related areas from a recognized University is the minimum eligibility criterion. In addition to this, those who have completed Post Graduation courses such as

• Master of Science in Computer Science
• Master of Science in Information Technology
• Master of Science in Electronics and Communication
• Master of Science in Instrumentation

Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination so as to be eligible. There is no age limit for these courses.

Admission Procedure

Admission to the courses is carried out on the basis of common admission test, C-CAT conducted by the institute. The examination comprises of three parts. Part I includes questions from topics such as English, Critical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Part II contains questions from academic topics such as Programming in C, Data Structures and Data Communications. Part III contains questions from topics such as Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics.

There will be fifty questions from each section. Each question carries one mark. Candidates will be given a maximum of one hour.
