The University of Delhi offers the course of M.Sc in the Operational Research based subject. The Seond year of the course has two semesters, and the names of the subjects in each of the paper are:

Second Year, 03rd Semester:

•    Course 301: Mathematical Programming-III
•    Course 302: Statistics-II
•    Course 303: Software Reliability Course 304: Database Management System & Visual Programming:(a) Theory, (b) Practical

•    Course 305: Any course out of the following:

1.    A course of equivalent credit offered by another department
2.    Financial Management
3.    Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Second Year, 04th Semester:

•    Course 401-403: Any three of the following:

1.    Marketing Research
2.    Inventory Management-II
3.    Queueing System-II
4.    Multicriteria Decision Models
5.    Dynamic Optimization
6.    Decision Theory
7.    Portfolio Management
8.    Quality Management
9.    Data Warehousing and Data Mining
10.    A course of equivalent credit offered by another department.

•    Course 404 –405: Project Work

Each of the paper in the third semester as well as the first paper of marks and the fourth carries a maximum of one hundred. There are two parts of the paper, the Theory part and the Internal Assessments having a maximum of 70 and 30 marks. The time duration of the theory paper is 3 hours. The Project work carries 200 marks.
