Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for Sub Inspector posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assistant Sub Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CRPF). Graduation is the essential qualification required for all these posts. Applications can be submitted online/offline through the official portal of SSC, before 12th April 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Sub Inspector/Asst Sub Inspector Recruitment

Graduation is the basic qualification necessary to apply for both these posts. The age limit specified for both the positions is 20-25 years. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates (OBC-3 years and SC/ST-5 years). Apart from this, male candidates who apply for Sub Inspector post in Delhi Police force should compulsorily hold a driving license in Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) for both Motor cycle and car.

Application Procedure for SSC Sub Inspector/Asst Sub Inspector Recruitment

Applicants can choose either an online or off line application format for submitting applications. Before starting the application process, it is essential for applicants to deposit the required amount of application fees. The application fee in this case is Rs 100/-. SC/ST/Ex service/Women candidates are exempted from application fee payment. It is possible for applicants to deposit fee online or offline. Online payment can be done through net banking facility or through any of the branches of State Bank of India. For offline fee payment, candidates can make use of Central recruitment fee Stamps (CRFS) available in all major departmental post offices.

Candidates after paying the examination fees can start with application procedures. Submission of Applications can be done either through online or offline. For online application process, it is essential to log in to official website of SSC and fill in the online application form. The online registration process can be done only in two stages. In part I of the registration process, candidate should enter his or her basic details. Those who complete part I registration can move to part II registration, where one must enter the fee payment details and must upload their photograph.

For offline application process, the application form needs to be downloaded from the website of SSC. Filled up application forms along with other important documents like photograph, attested educational documents should be sent to the regional/sub regional offices of the commission. The Admission Certificate (AC) along with the candidate name, date of birth, time and venue of written exam will be issued at least 2 weeks before the exam date. The admission certificate can also be downloaded from the official site of SSC.
