EMS Memorial Co-operative Hospital and Research Centre School of Nursing is one of the popular nursing institute in Kerala. This school of nursing is located in the Malappuram district of Kerala and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) as well as the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC).

College & Hospital:

The college cum hospital was established in the year 1998 with a share capital of Rs. 50 lakhs and 50 bed facility in a rented building. The college was started with the departments including general medicine department, ophthalmology department, gynaecology department, orthopedics department, and pediatrics department. A new hospital complex was laid in the year 1999 with more than 500 beds. In the year, new facilities and departments were introduced in the hospital and college.

Courses offered:

The EMS Memorial Co-operative Hospital and Research Centre School of Nursing offers the Diploma in Nursing course - GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) course and the duration of the course is three and half years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates, who have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent (in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects) with at least 45% marks, are eligible to apply for the GNM course. The college admits candidates for the course based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
