Sir, I did not have mathematics in my H.S level instead i had biotechnology. Am I eligible for M.Sc in biotechnology in the Jadavpur University?

No, you cannot do MSc in Biotechnology without Maths in class 12. Eligibility criteria for admission in Jadavpur University are:-

Candidates with B.Sc degree in any subject can apply for M.Sc (Biotechnology) in Jadavpur University. B.Sc degree should be obtained with minimum 55% marks (SC/ST candidates-40% marks). Such candidates should secure at least 50% marks in Mathematics at HSC level.

Candidates with BSc degree in any of the subjects can apply for MSc Biotechnology in Javavpur University. B.Sc degree must be obtained with a minimum of 55% marks ( SC/ST candidates - 40% marks).
Such candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in mathematics at HSC level.

Entrance Exam:-
You will be selected for MSc Biotechnology through two level entrance examination.
Ist level - Written Test
2nd level - Viva

You will be selected on the basis of 70% weightage in the written examination and 30% weightage of your viva examination.
