The West African Examination Council

The West African Examination Council is responsible for conducting Entrance Exam for taking admission in Engineering and Management courses in Universities/Colleges of the country of Africa.There are three types of exams conducted this examination board.These are :-

• WASSCE - Degree Level.
  
• SC/CGE O Level - Senior Secondary Level.
  
• HSC/CGE A Level - Higher Secondary Level.
  

The subjects that you will have to take for Entrance exams for different streams are as follows :-


For Technical Grade :

• Compulsory Papers - English Language,Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry and Computer Science.
• Optional Papers - Economics and English Literature.

For Management Grade :

• Compulsory Paper - English Language,Mathematics and Economics.
• Optional Paper - Physics,Chemistry,Biology and Computer Science.

Registration Codes details :-

• EA 60 - This code will be used for registration in Technical Grade by the candidates who are Interested.

• EA 61 - This code will be used for registration in Business Trade by the candidates who are Interested.

Important details for Registration in the above listed course :-

• Those candidates who belong from the country of Africa will be able to Register for this entrance exam in the month of May/June every year.

• Those candidates who are from outside the country of Africa will be able to Register for this entrance test in the month of November/December every year.
