i am final year student i can attend si selection...please tell me if i can do it

It is not mentioned that which course final year you are pursuing. For SI post, graduation is the main qualification. So, if you are in the final year of graduation you can apply for SI post. To get selection for this post, attend SSC exam and qualify the same. Physical test will be conducted for those who clear written test. But, final selection will be based on performance in interview. Also, final year candidates must submit graduation certificate at the time of interview to get selected for SI post.

Yes, you can apply for SI selection exam while awaiting for B.Com. final year result .

The eligibility criteria required to apply for SI post in Police are as under :-

-The candidate should have citizenship of India.

-The candidate should have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the post should be from 20 years to 25 years .The upper age limit is relaxed as per Governments Rules.

The selection procedure for Sub Inspector comprises of

Written Exam,

Physical Test,

Medical Test,

Document verification, and

Interview .


The syllabus for the written exam consists of

*General Knowledge

*General Awareness

*Reasoning Ability

*Maths.


The physical requirements for a Sub Inspector are as under :

Height :

*For male candidate-170 cm.

*For female candidate-157 cm.

There is relaxation in height for hill men and tribals by 5 cm.

Chest: 85 cms with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

Eye Sight : 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses .

Ncc A ,B& C certificate gives you bonus 2%,3% &5%,camp certificate didn't bring you anything ..it give you grace mark during your college time
