Re: Admissions for diploma holders to get admission in B.Arch
Diploma holders are eligible for lateral entry admission to the B.Arch program in some colleges or universities. However, the admission process and eligibility criteria may vary depending on the institution. Here are some general guidelines:
1. Eligibility: To be eligible for lateral entry admission to the B.Arch program, a candidate should have a diploma in Architecture with a minimum aggregate score of 50% from a recognized institution. 2. Entrance Exam: Some colleges may conduct a lateral entry entrance exam to shortlist candidates for admission. The exam may cover topics such as Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Architecture-related topics. 3. Portfolio: In addition to the entrance exam, candidates may also need to submit a portfolio of their previous work to showcase their creativity, design skills, and understanding of Architecture. 4. Counseling: Shortlisted candidates may be called for counseling rounds, where they can select the college and program of their choice based on their rank and availability of seats. 5. Admission Process: Once the candidate has been allotted a seat, they need to complete the admission process by submitting the required documents and paying the fees. |
