Yes you will surely get a great job after you graduate in EEE. But for that you have to apply for off-campus placements in some companies of your choice. Mostly company gives out the notification about the off campus placement.

The scope of EEE is really wide but if you continue you education and move to MTech then it will be a great boost for your career

Please don't worry about your job ,you have choosen a good branch .
I tell you in my family & relative there are five electrical engineer and every body in goverment sector & have good pay scale and one is in final year of B.tech(Electrical branch).

Overall job opportunities in engineering are expected to be good, and, indeed, prospects will be excellent in certain specialties.

The job scope of EEE is very much wide and there is chances of being soluble in both software companies as well as core companies.
You can get jobs in any software development companies.(TCS, Wipro, u-sigma, Arescent, Sopra etc)
You can jobs in telecommunication companies like BSNL, Airtel, Idea etc.
You can get jobs in core industries as modern uses of PLC and various control system for heavy machinery requires Electrical/Electronics engineers for both operation and maintainance and installation.
So, just choose the sctor as per your interest and qualification.
You will get a job accordingly.

You will get placement according to your branch through placements in companies like TCS, infosis, tata motors etc.

The various ways by which you can join in power sector as as a field worker or a technician supporter.
You can also join as section engg ,layman or become scientist in rd cell.
The exams are taken after graduation level. The advertisement comes in rozgar samachar.

EEE has lot more to do in railways on signal processing.

You could apply at various posts at educational institutions.
EEE is apart of curriculum at degree,diploma and engg. Colleges.
There is a lot scarcity in it.

Dear friend
You are just in 2nd year. It is good that you are thinking about your future from now on but it's not the time to be thinking for job. You should start thinking about jobs during or after completion of third year. First you focus on your studies and improve your technical knowledge as well as communication skills.

Your branch is Electrical based which is a core branch and almost all the industries require Electrical Engineer. So, no need to worry for jobs from this time.
NTPC, SAIL, ONGC, NMDC, DRDO etc all the public sector and private industries recruit EEE engineers.

It is good that if you secured good percentage . Government jobs are much different private one. Their selection procedure is not entirely based upon the small scale interviews as in case of private companies. As you are in final year of your BTech , have a look on advertisements that publishes in newspaper of PSUs. Till the time you will be in final semester, you will be reading notifications of BHEL , BSNL JTO , Jindal steel etc. Apply them because this would take much time , into which you will easily clear you 8th semester.
