Dear,
You are not eligible for Biomedical Engineering after 12th standard without Maths subject. Because Biomedical Engineering is a part of engineering and through AIPET or state PET you can get admission in engineering. Minimum eligibility for AIPET or state PET entrance exam is passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with 50 % marks from a regonised board. Good Luck |

Hello,
I think you can appear for the exam because as i know to become a Biomedical Engineer, one should hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech in BME). The basic eligibility criteria for a B.E is higher secondary or its equivalent examination in the science stream. The course is of 4 years duration and the candidates have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the respective institution. So if you are from Science stream you can surely go for that Also after +2, one can directly do B.E. in Biomedical Engineering Or B.E in other branches of engineering such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Chemical Engineering and then become a Bio medical professional by completing a postgraduate course in Biomedical engineering. Otherwise, one can do B.E in any branch of Engineering and go for a postgraduate course in Medical Technology, which is considered equivalent to a postgraduate course in Biomedical Engineering. One could also take up this career after completing an MBBS degree and then opt for a postgraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering/ Medical Engineering/ Medical Technology. Best of luck |

So many courses are available for Science intermediates. If you like Mathematics and are not interested in Engineering, you can study the B.Sc. Mathematics or related courses. You can study any of the Science, Arts or Commerce graduation programs having a pass in the +2 course. Other wise, you can study the BCA or BBA program, which are foundation programs for the MCA and MBA programs. MBA and MCA are professional programs, which have wide scope in India and abroad. You can also pursue CS, CA, ICWA programs. Otherwise, you can study the Integrated MBA program. Always be careful to study the program from a recognized University.

well there are many options after 12th science.
If you are interested in medical or pharmacy you can give an entrance exam and get into that... its has got gud future scope.. If you are interested in engineeirng then you can give enginering entrance exam and get admissioin into engineering.. If you are not interested in these all or you dont get admissoin in these all courses then dont worry.. you go for BSC computer or BCA... later on you can go for MCA or Msc computer or MBA.. choose your career as per youe choice ...... BEST OF LUCK.... |

yes, you are eligible for doing biomedical engineering with your science stream without maths.
because , for engineering the maths is compulsory in 12th for admission. but in case of Biotechnlogy, Bioinformatics and Biomedical Courses , you need biology with phy and chem in 12th.... ELIGIBILITY:- FOR ENGINEERING A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with individual pass in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For Biotechnlogy, Bioinformatics and Biomedical Courses a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with individual pass in English, Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry. OK BEST OF LUCK AND WISHES A BRIGHT BIOMEDICAL FUTURE........!!!!! |
