My suggestion is don't stop your graduation course in arts and don't waste valuable time of 1 year.

In order to join MBA, a graduation degree in arts is enough but it will be an added advantage if the candidate is from BBA.

So, my suggestion is while carrying out your graduation in arts itself, go through some of the subjects of BBA and enhance knowledge.

This will be helpful for you when you join MBA. As you are still in the 1st year of your graduation, still enough time is for you to join MBA.

By the time you join MBA, be strong enough in subject knowledge and develop communication skills which are vital for a MBA candidate and without which it is difficult to survive in this scenario.

No its not better to leave BA in between to do BBA.
Also if you want you can do BBA you can do it part time.So you wont loose your one year time.
You can do MBA even after completing BA.
So you dont need to leave BA & then do BBA inorder to do MBA in future.
There are many people who do MBA after completing there graduation from different fields. There is nothing like that people from other streams cant complete MBA properly.
So I would suggest you to not leave BA in between to join BBA.It will make you lose your complete one year which will have a bad impact on your career profile.

That would be a bad idea. You can go for MBA after ANY Graduation course.
BBA is not compulsory and in fact very few of the top MBAa across the nation does BBA.
You would be eligible for MBA after your BA and your graduation degree will not matter nevertheless.
You should keep pursuing BA and not lose a vital year.
But keep preparing well for CAT/MAT/XAT etc so that you get a good college for MBA
