Hello everyone, I want to apply for TGT in English. I have done BSc then BEd and MEd. I have also completed my MA in English. So, can I apply for TGT in English or not? Please help me to know about this asap. Thank you!

Yes you are eligible to write TGT exam.
As you have completed graduation, post graduation, B.Ed, M.Ed that is why you are eligible to apply for TGT entrance examination.

Yes, you can apply for TGT examination and after qualifying in entrance examination will become eligible for recruitment as teacher in government school.

The minimum eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree and have B.Ed course.

So, you can appear for entrance examination. Examination is conducted by CBSE and state education board.

TGT as Trained Graduate Teacher the required qualification for recruitment is candidates have to appear and qualify in CTET or state TET.

The eligibility to appear for examination is:

Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Candidates must have pursued B.Ed from any recognized university.

So. you will be eligible for it.

Teachers having B.Ed degree or other teaching training certificates after graduation are called Trained Graduate Teacher and these teachers are eligible to teach in junior classes in school.

TGT or Trained Graduate Teacher should have bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject for recruitment and B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

You are eligible to apply for TGT entrance examination after completion of Graduate and B.Ed from recognized university. Your age must not exceed 35 years.

So, yes you can apply for TGT English.
