Possibility to get admission in 11th grade in CBSE affiliated schools after completing 10th abroad?
My son is in 10th grade. We are returning back to India in June after 10th grade. He studied in India till 8th grade. Can I get admission for 11th grade in CBSE Board affiliated schools? What are overall challenges?

It depends from school to school.
*Some schools conduct test+interview to shortlist Students. *While some consider the marks obtained my student in his/her 10th standard. So you have to choose accordingly, which aspect suits your child and in which all schools he has his/her chances of getting admission. |

If you passed 10th from aborad, then you are eligible to get admission in std 11th in a CBSE affiliated school.
Candidates passed 10th from a recognised board even from an international board are eligible to get admission in std 11th in CBSE. You will have to submit the documents and certificates regarding the identity proof as well as educational qualification for the admission. There will be no more challenges in getting admission. |
