i want to know whether there is a preliminary exam for ISS exam. or just written exam and interview.
i meant that whether i should pass 1st preliminary exam.

Hello friend,
The Indian Statistical Service exam comprise of a written examination and an interview.
You will have to qualify the written examination to get selected for interview.

The written examination comprise of the following subjects:
General English
General Studies
Statistics

There will be a total of four papers of statistics.
