Eligibility for Scientific Officer in BARC:-

>> Minimum qualification required to apply for scientific officer in BARC is Bachelors in Engineering in trades like Mechanical engineering, Aerospace, Automobile, Communication, Information technology, Geology, Mining, Industrial Production etc.

>> Applicant must have done Bachelors in engineering from government recognized institute with minimum 60% marks. Relaxation in marks criteria for reserve category candidates as per government rules.

>> Age limit to apply is 19 to 26 years, Relaxation of 3 years for candidates belongs to OBC category, Relaxation of 5 years in age limit for SC/ST category candidates, Relaxation of 10 years for handicapped candidates.

>> Applying candidate must be Indian citizen.

Notification Release Details:-

>> Notification release every year in month of January- February.

>> Date of exam mostly in the month of June – July.
