let me know the salary and packages offered to an ias offficers in india

Indian administrative services salary packages,

it has four pay scale,
1)junior scale:
salary:Rs 15600-39100 Grad pay 5400

2)senior scale:
salary:Rs 15600-39100 Grad pay 6600
to promoting junior to senior scale usually after 7-9 year service.

3)super time scale:
salary:Rs,it -67000 Grade pay 10000
the super time scale is one of awe and power.At this level of the IAS hierachy you will most probably be th secretary of some state govt department or you could be posted at center in the position of joint secretary .For referance sake ,it takes 20 years reach the super time scale and become eligible for the above IAS salary .
4)above super time scale

There are three Pay Bands in this scale.

Rs 37400-67000. Grade Pay of Rs 12000.
The Apex Pay Scale of Rs 80000 (fixed). No Grade Pay.
Cabinet Secretary Grade of Rs 90000 (fixed). No Grade Pay.
Not all IAS officers are fortunate enough to enjoy this Pay Scale. The IAS officers in the Super Time Scale include Senior Secretaries, Chief Secretaries, Secretaries in the Central Government and the Cabinet Secretary, the highest position an IAS officer can aspire for in life.

The minimium starting salary offered to IAS officers in India is Rs.15,000 To 25,000.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam conducted by Union Public Service Commision every year.

Candidate should have Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Age should between 21 to 30 years for general category.
Relaxation for OBC 3 year, SC/ST's 5 years, Ex-Servicemans 5 years , pd 10 years.

A fresh IAS would fetch around 35,000 and senior most rank around 1,00,000.

A large chunk of the salary is taken back by the government as income tax.
An IAS enjoy status, security and allownces.

IAS jobs are always considered as one of the most reputed and lavish job in India. The amount of social respect this job gets is can not even imagined.

If we talk about the salary then the salary offered to a IAS officer varies and increase as per time.

In starting they get : - 15600-39100 Grad pay 6600

After few years they get experience and then the salary is :- 67000 Grade pay 10000

At later stage of their career they receive highest salary which is :-
37400-67000. Grade Pay of Rs 12000.

So it is visible that the salary they get is unmatched.
