Will I be able to guide Engineering students if I did Ph.D in Electrical Engineering?


i had done ph.d in physics and become faculty in a engineering college for first year students. Even though i can guide THE STUDENTS BUT CAN NOT BE A OFFICIAL GUIDE AS MY DEGREE IS NOT FROM ENG STREAM.WILL IT POSSIBLE AFTER PHD. IN ELECTRICAL ENGG.
