ISAT is conducted by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) for admission into B.Tech programme in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Physical Sciences. One must satisfy the eligibility criteria to apply for ISAT. Let's take a quick look on the eligibility criteria of ISAT-2012 :-
  • Candidates must be citizen of India.
  • Candidates must born on or after 1st October, 1987. Scheduled castes/tribes and physically disabled candidates get age relaxation upto 5 years.
  • Candidates must 10+2 or equivalent in the year 2011 or 2012. Those who are undergone two year course of the joint service wing of NDA and appearing for final examination in the year 2011-12 are also eligible. Note that candidates should be able to submit result of qualifying exam on or before 1st July, 2012. Failing to do so will result in disqualification of the candidate for further admission procedure.
  • Candidates must secure at least 70% marks in PCM in 10+2 and aggreate 70% marks in 10th board exam. However for reserved category candidates minimum qualification is 60% marks in both Xth board and 10+2.

Since you have passed 10+2 in the year 2010, unfortunately, you cannot write ISAT-2012.
