But AICTE rules says one must have to score 150 in order to get admission in any engg colleges. Please let me know if im eligible for councelling? |

Re: Cutoff for getting admission in a government college through WBJEE for electronics engineering DEAR FRIEND the counseling cutoffs always vary according to the results. the past record says the cutoff for admission into govt. college is around 5000 in wbjee. so your rank is too far but you can hope for second counseling otherwise join private colleges in kolkata all the best |

For your kind information i want to inform you that last year the cut-off for the same was around 4500. Your rank is nearer to 18000 which is very very far away from that . However you can have some chance if you belong to sc/st group and has a permanent resident in orissa. The condition will get clear to you after councelling so please take part in councelling.For your kind information i want to inform you that the councelling is starting from 2nd july. Re: Cutoff for getting admission in a government college through WBJEE for electronics engineering no in first counseling you will not be able to take admission in government college with this much rank. almost till 5000 rank in WBJEE get chance to take admission in good government college. but you may try to take admission in government college in 2nd, 3rd or 4th counseling. may be you will get chance. but with this rank you may take admission in very good private institution. you may try for this although expense of study b.tech in private institution is very high. hope for the best. |
