Re: Revised exam structure for NET and SET? Revised Paper Structure: From June 2011, CSIR-NET will follow revised pattern of conducting the exam. The paper consists of only multiple choice questions(MCQs) unlike descriptive questions asked until now. Negative marks for wrong answer shall be @25% of the marks of questions. Total Marks of Exam: 200 Paper-A: Marks: 30 This is common to all subjects. It consists of General Science & Research Aptitude Test. Out of 20 questions, one has to attempt any 15 questions of two marks each. Paper-B: Marks: 70 It consists of subject related MCQs. Maximum question to be attempted is in range of 25-35. Paper-C: Marks: 100 It consist of questions to test scientific concepts & their applications. Important Dates for CSIR-UGC NET Exams: Last date of Application Forms: 30th March, 2011 Last date of Receipt of Application Forms: 5th April, 2011 Exam Date: 19th June, 2011 |
