The function perfomed by the samiti includes selection of talented rural children and then providing them the best quality education. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is determined to provide or make good quality education available to the poor or infact rural kids. The main idea behind the establishment of such samiti was to uplift the children with special talent or aptitude. Serving the objectives of excellence coupled with equity and social jusctice and promotion of national integration are two of the major objective of the samiti. Job Profile: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is recruiting young and professional candidates on the following positions of Assistant, Audit Assistant, Hindi Translator, Computer Operator, Stenographer etc. Only candidates, who have done Graduation or SSC, should apply for the below specified positions: 1. Recruitment of Assistant: No. of posts: Only 1 post is available. Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 30 years. Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with adequate knowledge of computer application. Candidates should also have atleast 3 years of experience in Administrative, Financial matters in Central Government. Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200. 2. Recruitment of Audit Assistant: No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available. Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 30 years. Educational Qualification: B.Com from a recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 3 years of experience in account work in a Government organization. Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200. 3. Recruitment of Hindi Translator: No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available. Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 30 years. Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree from a recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 2 years of experience in translation work from Hidni to English and vice versa. Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200. 4. Recruitment of Computer Operator: No. of posts: Only 1 post is available. Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 30 years. Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with knowledge of word processing and data entry. Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400. 5. Recruitment of Stenographer: No. of posts: Only 1 post is available. Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years. Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary School certificates or 12th passed with a shorthand speed of atleast 80 words per minute. Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400. 6. Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk: No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available. Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary School certificates or 12th passed from a recognized board with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates must have typing speed of atleast 30 words per minute in English. Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.
