TAX officer offer information and advice to individuals, businesses and organisations on a range of tax and related issues.Even they do full inquiry in case of any disparacy... Physical Standards (Minimum) a)Height :157.5cm b)Chest :81cm ,fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm c)Physical Test: i)Walking:1600 meters in 15 minutes ii)Cycling:8 Km in 30 minutes these are the physical standard which to be expected from a candidate for INCOME TAX OFFICER exam. |

Graduation from a recognized university(in any discipline). 2. Age limits: Maximum 25 years, Minimum 18 years. 3. You have to pass out the entrance examinations of Income tax officer conducted by SSC. |

Re: What is the job profile of an Income Tax Inspector? The main job is that of tax collection. They need to ensure all individuals file their tax. Also it involves the tax paid by the individuals. Finding out the defaulters is also amongst the jobs involved. You can go into this profession if you take the commerce field. Pursuing CA would be apt. |
