Re: Short tricks to solve Maths Bank Problems? There is no area called Mathematics in Banks. But however there is an area called Quantitative Aptitude where in many of the questions are of problematic type which need calculations to get the answers. You should score minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. Here are some of the tricks to score good marks in this area. -Know squares upto 50 and cubes upto 30 and make sure that you will be able to tell these squares and cubes without putting your pen on paper. -If you are strong enough with this, you will be able to answer Questions from Number Series Simplifications Other Aptitude questions as well. Try to know Prime Numbers upto 100. Make sure that, you should be able to identify a number as prime number or not just by having a glance over it. Regular practice is very much essential so that you will not forget the formulas. The more practice that you have, the less time it will take for you to answer the questions. Give much preferences to the concepts that have more weightage like Simplifications. If at all you are not able to solve a particular problems or if you feel that it will take much time to solve, then leave those questions and go for other problems. The reason is its waste of time and negative marking is also there. Try to practice the questions from Previous year papers and other model papers and check your performance from time to time. As my experience says you must follow Books "verbal and non-verbal reasoning" and "quantitative aptitude" written by Dr. R S Agarwal, all solution of problems in this book have used shortest and best way to solve. As you go through this book you will automatically have your own shortcut so you can remember your own shortcut. In mathematics you must go to longcut(detailed) before you follow shortcut, it will be easy to use shortcut efficiently when you have gone through longcut. |

Re: Short tricks to solve Maths Bank Problems? The reasoning questions can be solved more accurately by practicing as more as you can do. Since the only trick to solve reasoning question accurately is practice as much problems as you can do. There are some particular tricks for doing the aptitude questions they are not fixed you can make them by your own practice and solve as many questions as you can. For this purpose you can refer the book written by R.S. Agarwal. famous book writer for quantitative aptitude. Main thing that you must keep in your mind is that practice always to control time the questions are not very hard but you have to do them in particular time. |
