Hey friend,

For your kind information there is nothing to be dealt with the percentage of 10th and +2 marks for applying for both IAS and IPS exam.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

Both these exams are part of Indian Civil Service and they are being conducted by UPSC every year.

For applying for these exam you need to be a citizen of India.

Regarding the Age limits you need to have a age limit of 21-30 years for General Category and for SC/ST it is 21-35 years and for OBC it is 21-33 years.

Most of all you need to have completed your degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage,no matter whatever discipline it is.

For IPS exam, the candidates should not have been a IAS or IFS officer before.

For IPS exam the candidates should be physically fit while applearing for the exam.

You need to satisfy all the above criteria's to be eligible to apply for IAS,IPS exam.

sc/st has relaxation of 5 years and Obc has 3 years .

If you can fulfill those ,you are eligible.
