I have completed b.com in accounting & finance with 48.63% in 2011 and after that I have completed m.b.a in marketing with 64.11% in 2013. Am I eligible for I.C.W.A.I. course?

what is the minimum percentage required to give icwai foundation exam i got the following percentages :- 10th- 51.8%
12th-48.4%
B.com-45%
M.com-46%
am i elligble for the exam

Dear Friend

ICWAI qualification course consist of three levels.

Foundation Level, Intermediate Level, Final Level.

The admission to foundation level and Intermediate level is allowed then you will

have to qualify the subsequent level to get admission in the final level.

The eligibility for Foundation Level is
Age:17 years minimum
Education: 12th passed.

For Intermediate Level
Age: 18 years
Education: Graduation.

ICWA stands for The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) and this course is divided into three stages.
FOUNDATION COURSE
INTERMEDIATE COURSE
FINAL COURSE

FOUNDATION COURSE:

1)You must have done 10+2 class form a recognized Board
2)You must have completed your 17 years of age
3)If you are in the final year then also you are eligible for the exam.

FEE STRUCTURE FOR FOUNDATION COURSE:
Cost of Prospectus ::Rs. 200/-
Postal Tuition fee::Rs. 3500/-
Oral Coaching Fee ::Rs. 3500/-

INTERMEDIATE COURSE:

1)You must have done your graduation or you have completed the foundation course.
2)You must have completed your 18 years of age
3)If you are in the final year then also you are eligible for the exam.

Eligibility for the I.C.W.A Course :


if you want to become an icwa graduate , you should be finished 12th with maximum 60% percentage of marks from recognized university . you should be faced three levels ie : foundation , intermediate , final examination .
if you finished graduation then you directly apply for the intermediate course .

Note : if you waiting for the result for the 12th examination , then also eligible for the examination . but institution will get admission after you submit your 12th mark sheet .

I.C.W.A stands for institute of cost and work accountancy . the duration of the course is 3 years including practical training in companies . the candidate who should pursue for the course should having the depth knowledge in management business and accounts . there is good job opportunity for the icwa candidates in both the private and public sectors .

if you want to become an icwa graduate , you should be finished 12th with maximum 60% percentage of marks from recognized university . you should be faced three levels ie : foundation , intermediate , final examination .

Eligiblity criteria -

To get admission in Foundation course, You have to Passed your Senior Secondary Examination from the recognized Board And your age is not less than 17 years.

But to get admission in Intermediate course have to passed your degree Examination of any recognised University.

For this course even 12th pass outs are allowed to apply. You will need to submit proof of the same. So if you are 12th pass out you can send an application with a DD of Rs 200. You will get the prospectus with the instructions to be followed. If you have higher qualification like graduation then you could go in for the next level of the course i.e intermediate level.
