You are eigible to appear for ias exam. Eligibility crieteria for appearingin ias exam is graduation from recognised university. Sikkim manipal university is recognised by ugc and dec. You can appear for ias exam even though you are doing bca from sikkim manipal university as it is approved by ugc and dec. All the best . |

The minimum Eligibility criteria required to get enrolled for this exam is :- for this you have a graducate degree from a recognised university.. ... and the age should be minimum 21 years.As you are doing BCA from a Indian Recognized University you are eligible for the examination. . |

Yes, you can appear in IAS exam after completion of your BCA course.. Eligibility criteria for Appearing in IAS exam- Educational qualification:- 1.You must have complete the graduation in any field.. 2.you should not have any pending backlogs during the graduation.. Age criteria:- 1.if you are from general category then your age should be in between 21-30years.. 2.For SC /ST the age relaxation is 5years and for OBC the age relaxation is 3years.. So, don't worry after completion of your graduation you can apply for IAS exam.. All the best.. |

Only doubt regarding your enrollment is your age if your age is equal to or above 21 years of age then you are eligible to write the examination after the release of next notification. mean while prepare well for this examination. this examination is not a single paper it is actually three level patterned examination. i.e.,, ->CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test) ->Mains ->Personal Interview the whole process of examination will nearly take 1 to 1 and half years. this is all about your query. all the best for your preparation. all the best |

Hello Toufique, Sikkim Manipal University is a recognized university and hence the degree offered by it, even distance mode is considered equivalent to the degree offered by any other university offering the program through distance or regular classes. Now, as you have mentioned that you are pursuing BCA, you are eligible for the civil service exam, conducted by union public service commission. The minimum eligible age is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 30 years for general category, 33 years for OBC category and 35 years for SC/ST category. For more information, refer to the official website of UPSC. |
