Re: Joining CID or CBI after 12th? As you are only 12th Passed Student and wanted to Join CBI then you need to have Graduation first with Criminology Course. To Get into CBI Field Eligibility Conditions are 1). Educational Qualification :- For making Yourself Eligible For CBI You must be Graduation courses in Criminology . For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed. 2). Syllabus: The syllabus for a course in Criminology usually includes - Principles of Criminology, Psychology of Crime, Criminal Law, Police Administration, Forensic Science and Medicine, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Management and Rehabilitation of Criminals etc. |

Respected Sir, Sir, I Satyendra Kumar serving in Indian Army as Havaldar and have completed 15 yrs pensionable service and wish to join CBI or CID for further service. My qualification is 12th with commerce. kindly intimate wether I am iligable for CBI or CID or not so that I can process the application for the same accordingly. |

Re: Joining CID or CBI after 12th? The minimum qualification required for joining CBI is that you must at least be holding a graduation degree in any field. Only after completing your graduation you will be eligible to join CBI. |

Eligibility for Central Bureau of Investigation Exam 2011: - 1. Qualifications: - Degree of a regonised University or equivalent. 2. Age Limit: - 20 - 25 years. 3. Selection Procedure 2011: - Selection based on Written Test, Personal Interview and According to Rule and Regulation of the Govt of India. 4.examination will be conducted in 2 parts a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks i. General Test ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning iii. General Awareness iv. Numerical Ability b. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks. i. English Language ii. Language Comprehension iii. Communication / Writing iv. Ability Test |

Relaxation is given to sc/st which is 5 years and for obc 3 years. Examination pattern:-exam consists of part i and part ii part i it consist of paper i of general test of 200 marks and paper ii is of english language of 200 marks. Part ii consists of interview which is of 100 marks total. You have to clear both exams to get selected for cbi. |

For joining in CBI you must appear in an exam named CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) conducted by UPSC. For appearing in this exam you must have finished your graduation of any stream from a recognized university. Your age must be above 21years and below 27years. |

Re: Joining CID or CBI after 12th? dear friend, No, my friend after completion of 12th only you will not be eligible for appearing in CBI exam.. To appear in CBI exam the minimum qualification is one have to complete the graduation in any trade.. Age eligibility:- Candidates age should be in between 18-25 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. This is the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.. So, first complete your graduation then go for CBI/CID exam.. All the best. |
