Re: For general category what is the maximum age limit for IAS exam?

Dear Friend,

* The Acronym "IAS" Stands for Indian administrative Services.

* This Exam is conducted every year once by the Union Public service Commission.

* The IAS Exam is conducted in three phases :

1) Preliminary Exam

2) Mains exam

3) Interview Test

For General Category students, the maximum age limit is 30 years , i.e. , you can give the examination upto an age of 30 years.

The Eligibility Criteria that you require in order to be eligible for the exam are :

* You must have completed your graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC Candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

* You must have Indian Nationality.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.
