Re: Required age limit for NDA Exam? NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year to recruit the candidates into following defence services Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing The complete selection procedure would involve NDA Exam Interview Medical Test Here is the required eligibility criteria to apply for this Exam. Academic Qualification : One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing. In order to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, the candidate should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics. Required age limit will be 16.5 years to 19 years. No relaxation will be provided in upper age limit for the candidates of any category. The nationality of the candidate should be India. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to give this Exam. If you possess the above mentioned criteria, I suggest you to have good preparation for this Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Required age limit for NDA Exam? Hi Required age to appear for NDA is 16.5 yrs to 19 yrs. You may refer to following eligibility criteria Applicant must be Indian citizen. Applicant's date of birth should fall between 02 July 1995 and 01 January 1998 both dates are included. For date of birth proof, UPSC will consider matriculation certificate only. So if your date of birth fall in the range mentioned above then you can apply for NDA. If not then you cant all the best |

Re: Required age limit for NDA Exam? Hi, This is the minimum age . AGE LIMIT FOR NDA Exam: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence. After 12th you can apply for NDA exam. Please calculate your current age with the creterion. |

So, If you are Interested in NDA Examination then you need to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised Board and Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. >> So, If your age more than 16.5 years and less than 19 years, then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination. It is one of those exams which are conducted by the UPSC every year to select candidates for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The Basic Eligibility Criteria for the NDA are :: 1. You should be an Indian National Unmarried Male citizen. 2. YOUR AGE SHOULD BE WITHIN 16.5 TO 19 YEARS ! No relaxations. 3. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board and scored above 50% in it. 4. Physics and Maths are compulsory for the IAF and Navy. 5. You should be physically fit. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.there is not any kind of age relaxations is applicable for any reserved category. You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried. For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , you must have Physics & Maths as you passing subjects in 12th. You must have scored at least 60% in 12th class. |

There is no special age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC.. So, if your age is in between 16.5-19 years then you can apply for NDA exam.. All the best. |

Through this examination one can apply in the combatant branches of the Indian army i.e. in NAVAL , AIR FORCE & MILITARY BRANCHES for their officers ranks posts,. For apply in this examination, the minimum educational requirement is a 12th degree from a recognized board. For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , you must have Physics & Maths as you passing subjects in 12th. You must have scored at least 60% in 12th class. You have not mentioned your date of birth so that I can tell you weather you are eligible for the NDA examination or not. The age limit criteria for the NDA examination is that the age of the candidate must be between 16.5 years to 19 years. One should be in the age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years are eligible. As your date of birth is on 21-09-1993, your age is 18 years by 2011 and by 2012 you are going to complete 19 years. you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam. Good Luck..~~~ |

As per latest National Defence Academy (NDA) examination notification the candidates must be male Indian within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecement of training. Furthure more candidate must be medically fit and have to clear Service Selection Board (SSB) interview after qualifying written examination. NDA Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and August. Recently NDA 2 examination was conducted in the month of August. Notification of upcoming NDA 1 examination will be going to publish in the month of October 2011. |
