Re: Am I eligible for the exams of UPSC at the age of 31?

Hi

Eligibility for the UPSC is :

1. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years if you belong to the general category. A relaxation of +3 years is given to the SC, ST and OBC category candidates.

But since you are 31, you can apply to UPSC exams only if you don't belong to the general category.

Otherwise, UPSC is not for you.

Try looking for private jobs in MNC's rather.

All the best.

Re: Am I eligible for the exams of UPSC at the age of 31?

dear friend,
You wants to appear in UPSC exam.. And you have mention that your age is 31 years.

Eligibility for UPSC exam:-

*One must have complete the graduation at least..
*The candidates age should be in between 21-30 years..
There are some upper age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC category students..
For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the age relaxation is 3 years..
So, if you are from general category then you are not eligible for UPSC exam.
But if you are from SC/ST category or OBC category then you can appear in UPSC exams.
All the best..

>> For SCRA Examination Your age Should between 17 to 21 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.
