you have got less marks in 2nd year because according to eligibility criteria of any exam ,your aggregate marks are considered not ,the marks of your specific year are considered and also the most important part of B.Tech study are 3rd and 4th year because there you come across branch papers so you need to perform well in 3rd and 4th year.there is no any problem due to your 2nd year marks but check the eligibility criteria of exam, you total means the aggregate percentage called cgpa is being considered.the different government companies have the different requirements about the percentage.

You can apply..
donot worry such jobs require an aggregate of 65%..
you still have two more years..

dear sir ,

for your kind information , when you are going to apply for the government jobs then you total means the aggregate percentage called cgpa is being considered.
different government companies have the different requirements about the percentage.

and if your percentage in the 2nd year of the b.tech is less then it doesnt matters but you have to maintain the pointer or the percentage at least more than the 60% till the 7th sem of your b.tech with clearing all the subjects.

dear friend,
As you want to do govt. job after completion of B.tech, then you can go for it..Your 2nd year marks will not create any problem individually..
Because when you are going to apply for a govt. job then they consider your over all marks percentage in graduation..
So, if you secure less percentage in 2nd year, then try to get a good percentage of marks in 3rd year, to make the over all percentage good..
So, work hard, study well, to get a very good aggregate in graduation..
All the best..

Yes off courser you can apply for government jobs even you have got less marks in 2nd year because according to eligibility criteria of any exam ,your aggregate marks are considered not ,the marks of your specific year are considered and also the most important part of B.Tech study are 3rd and 4th year because there you come across branch papers so you need to perform well in 3rd and 4th year.

So there is no any problem due to your 2nd year marks but check the eligibility criteria of exam before applying for it .If you have more than 65% in aggregate then there is no need to worry as far as government job is concerned.
