To become Sub inspector of police,
Eligibility criteria:- 12th pass in any stream
And graduation from any recognized university

*The SI Exams are conducted by State / Central Government for filling various vacant posts of Sub Inspector.

Minimum Age limit:- 21years

Maximum Age limit:-30 years

I'm studying B.E final year sir. I have low CGPA 5.5 .but I all clear sir . I want to apply SI post, I feel low CGPA is not qualified to apply SI exam. Can I apply SI post in low CGPA ? Please tell about it sir...my email id is [email protected]

Dear friend the minimum educatin qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University for apply SSC CPO -SI exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 21 years to 25 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

Selection procedure :-

- Written exam.

- Physical test and

- Personal interview.

Physical Requirement:-

Male - Height 170 cm,

Chest- 80 cm with 5cm expansion.

Female -Height 157 cm.

if i complete degree in b.com can i join sub inspector post..??
I live in Bangalore..
If b.com is not so good for sub inspector post plz suggest me any other post as soon as possible plz..

Eligibility for the SI::

You must have passed bachelor degree in any streams from a reputed college.

You should be between 21 - 25 years of age .

Recruitment process::The candidates have to go through the three stages which are ::

1. Written exam.
2. Physical test and
3. Personal interview.

Written exam:

The written exam consist of 2 papers each of 2 hours.

Paper I ::It is of objective types and consist of following subjects .

Reasoning ability: 50 marks
General Awareness: 50 marks
Maths: 50 marks
English language: 50 marks

Paper II :Its of descriptive type papers and consists of :

English Language and Comprehension (200 marks)

Physical Requirement:

Male Candidates- Height 170 cm, Chest 80 cm with 5cm expansion.
Female Candidates- Height 157 cm.

dear friend
the minimum requirement is a degree from any discipline. there is no restriction that you should have completed a particular degree
you need to write the upsc exam and must pass through various qualifying programmes
