Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

Hello Friend,

As you are pursuing B.E. in IT. IT has really good scope in future and present also. Now, it's time to get certification, you should do your certification according to your interest. But, when we take a look over the future scope then JAVA is much better as compared to DOTNET. Yes, Java has much better scope in the IT Industry as compared to .NET Moreover, after getting certification in Java, you can join the line of ANDROID Also. It has great future and you can also get good package.

Wish you all the very best.

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

The basic thing is both the technologies are used for software development as well as web development. So both are important. Advantage with java is, java is a platform independent & single language based technology whereas .NET is a multiple language based but platform dependent technology. Now in India medium level companies prefer .NET than JAVA. Small level companies prefer PHP. But java is the best to learn for the freshers. After knowing java well you can easily learn .NET or PHP within a few days.

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

".net certification or java certification?" the most important question in the mind of a person who still don't know what are the potentials of these two.
it is like choosing among mango and apple.

Now coming to the point:
.net concept is new to market and as far as i know Microsoft is promoting it highly. there is a news that Microsoft already talked with European nations to implement it on every machine.
there is a fear that microsoft may loose market share and advantage of .net platform as it gonna be open play field for every one. as you know that c#.net is the main console programming domain and asp.net web based development domain and also there are many domains.in .net but these two are very important.
now java is already established it self as a pioneer in the field of computer programming, so the fight will be quite tough.
but slowly java_trend is somehow downwards now a days( if you are not a big java fan ). .net is next step for the computing domain.

Technically: you have to use java and only java if you are using java as your platform. but .net gives you the flexibility to use or implement different languages for different segment of coding. so the "survival of the fittest" correctly implies on .net framework.

You give to option .net and java . I want to suggest you that java is very popular in these days.

this language contains many features so you should choose this language.
By the way these both language are good but i suggest you for the java. you have also get good percentage in B.E. then this java is the best option for you.

this platform will give you very bright future if you work hard for this. There are so many IT companies that prefer for good programmers and give very good package.

so according to me you should do java certification.
best of luck.

You got very good marks in engineering so now the time to get a certification. You have two options and both the options are good for you.Its depend on your interest. So choose any one.My suggestion is you should choose java certification. There is so much scope in java programming so its better to choose java language for your future. You are an IT engineer so you have lots of knowledge about the basic language of computer field like C and C++.SO its very good for you and you can easily work on java language.Java language is purely object oriented language and used c and c++ methods and syntax.
So choose the one which you have more interest.

All the best

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

Better to go for the JAVA certificate , because currently JAVA has lots of advantage in the future.

but after all the thing depends on your interest ,so go accordingly.

Chose the subjects you are interested to take, that will add more interest while studying the course.

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

Java is valued more than .net certification some times, but .net requires less experience as it is not that complicated.

So its totally depends on you, you should opt the one you have knowledge about

If you have an edge at JAVA, then go for it, but if not, i'll suggest you to go for .net

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

Good morning

Firstly Congrats. you got a degree of 76.5%

Firstly It's depend on your interest.

Secondly I suggest you .Net bcause .net developer have less experience then java
java developed earlier then .net so java developer have more experience I think you 9 years you can'nt compete but you can compete with 6 year experience of .Net.
It is new & very demanding in market.

have a nice day

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

Well, its all up to your interest. Both certifications are good and have very nice future scope in the IT industry. So, if you think that your Java programming skills are better than DotNet and you are much interested in Java language, go for Java certification, else choose DotNet as your career path.

Re: .net certification or java certification? I am B.E. in IT

it entirely depends upon your ability, and the area in which you have your foot hold.

java is a core subject, which demands talent and labour, where as .net is a subject which demands creative and active minds.

both are good dicession is your's.

BEST OF LUCK
