Re: Am I eligible for top IT companies after having a backlog? I have 92% in 10th and 79% in 12th and my CGPA upto 6th sem is 7.03% with 2 history of arrears in 1st year i have cleared it in 1st year itself.Am i eligible for MNC companies.what are the companies am i eligible for? |

Re: Am I eligible for top IT companies after having a backlog? It is soe to inform you that you can not appear in any IT or MNC company with your backlogs.You first have to clear all your backlogs.Only after completing all the backlogs you will be eligible to sit in the counseling or exams. |

I am studying in 7th semester and having a CGPA of 7.83 ,I had 6 backlogs till now and have cleared all that,am I eligible for L & T Infotech. The Eligibility criteria says Maximum of 4 Reattempts/ATKTs/Backlogs/Arrears during Diploma BE/Btech ME/MTech or BSc MCA Final Semester Exams should be cleared in first attempt NOTE: Backlogs include both Dead & Alive |

But most of companies considers it but doesn't allow live backlog i.e while applying for placement if you have not cleared your previous backlog or you have got a backlog in the current semester. Re: Am I eligible for top IT companies after having a backlog? dear friend, Eligibility criteria to appear in the campus drive of a leading IT company:- *The candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career at least. *The candidate should not have any due backlogs during the graduation or post graduation course. *The candidate must not have any study gap more than 2 years. These are the minimum requirements you have to fulfill to appear in any campus drive of a leading IT company. As you have mentioned that you have a due backlog during your post graduation course, then sorry to say you that you are not eligible.. To appear in any exam or any campus drive, you have to first clear your due backlog and get a clear result as soon as possible.. All the best. |

sorry to say dear you are not eligible for any software company because they want only fresh candidate. here i have giving two software companies criteria:- For ACCENTURE eligibility criteria is 60% in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed. for INFOSYS eligibility criteria is 65% above in through out. I got a backlog in one of the subjects in my 7th semester due to health reasons.I have already been placed in two companies.I do have the chance of clearing it within the month of december.Will it create any problems for me during joining.My career is over 85%. |

There are lots of TOP companies in which you can apply even after having a back log.There are only few company's in India which will take candidates only if they have not any backlogs. The company's like IBM, TCS, WIPRO, Infosys are only the company's who will not take the candidates if they have any backlog. But don't worry there are other big company's in which you can apply if you have any backlog in future. But remember one thing that all Top IT company's will recruit back candidates only if they don't have any current back log. All the backs should be cleared at the time of interview. Re: Am I eligible for top IT companies after having a backlog? Do not worry as per your marks in prevous exams i dont think so that you will get any backlogs because your marks are really too good. But yes it is true that if you get backlog then there will be many problems for you to get job in big & good I.T. companies. As any company normally avoids taking studemts who have got backlogs in there career. Even if they take you then they will pay less salary to you as compared to your other coleagues & friends. But this situation is not permanent as soon as you gain experience of 3 to 4 years no one cares about your marks & grades. They just check your performance & knowledge & accrding to it they hire you. So be optimistic whatever the result may be........... |

Just keep in mind that you should not have any live backlogs while submitting your resume to the company. so clear the backlog as soon as possible. You have a good aggregate try to maintain and increase it. Don't waste your time in thinking about that backlog, make sure it does not happen in future. BEST OF LUCK !!! |

Re: Am I eligible for top IT companies after having a backlog? backlog are common in engineering don't worry regarding this , as you have 77% which is very good , with this percentile you can sit in any of the top IT company. generally top company want no backlogs at the time of placement ,so if you clear your backlog till placement time then you can sit in for most of the top company. but there are some company which don't allow backlogs |

Pass B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Sc or MCA or M.E. or M.Tech. or M.S. or M.Sc with minimum 65 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university. 2. No standing backlogs are allowed. 3. There are very few companies , which recruite students having backlogs, if you are thinking of joining company's like IBM, TCS, WIPRO, Infosys , then it would be better if you first clear your backlogs, otherwise you may start with some small firms , then after gaining some experience apply to some good companies or PSUs. |

Am I eligible for top IT companies after having a backlog? i am ma student and having 77% marks til my third semester and i got a backlog in my fourth semester result so i put revaluation for that and hopefully there is chance for pass, but i want to know that shall i am eligible for top IT companies or not. |
