Re: Eligibility criteria to apply for KPSC exam Eligibilty for KPSC: Age Limit and Relaxation Age limit – Minimum --- 18 years Maximum --- 33 years Relaxation of age for different categories is as follows:- (i) SC/ST/Cat.I ---- 5 years (ii) 2A/2B/3A/3B ---- 3 years (iii) EX-MP ---- Number of years served by them plus 3 years. (iv) Physically Handicapped ---- 10 years (v) Widows ---- 10 years (vi) In-service ---- No. of years of actual service rendered by them in any of the Departments of Karnataka State or any Dept. owned or controlled by the Government of Karnataka or 10 years whichever is less. (vii) No. of years of service rendered by a candidate who has been released from National cadet Corps.( N.C.C) after service as a whole-time Cadet Instructor. (viii) No. of years of service rendered by the candidate as Village Group Inspector appointed in a Rural Industrialisation Scheme sponsored by the State Government. THANKS |

Eligibility Criteria The candidates have to satisfy certain eligibility criteria for attending the KPSC Lecturer in Electronics Engineering/Technology Exam. The candidates should be electronics or an electrical engineering graduate with minimum 60% marks. The candidates should be between the age group of 20 and 38 years. Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Health Engineering Department, and Public Works Department can also apply for the test. They can apply at the age of 50 years. Age relaxation is provided for the reserved categories prescribed as per the government norms. |

Relaxation of age for SC/ST/Cat.I -5 years,Physically Handicapped -10years, Widows -10 years, 2.
