Being a candidate who have completed 12th standard you are eligible for the clerical exam conducted by the State bank of India but you are not eligible for the clerk exam conducted by the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection because the minimum educational qualification required is Graduation.But i advise you to complete graduation in whatever the stream you like because there are many opportunities after the completion of graduation. So I recommend you to study Graduation the stream you are interested. The eligibility details of the clerical exam are mentioned below:
The exam pattern consists of a written test and an interview.The written test is an objective test.There are five sections,each section consists of 50 questions with each question carrying one mark.The five sections are based on

Re: Am I eligible for Bank Clerk Exam after the completion of 12th? Hi dear, Bank Clerical exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of clerk in the respected bank which is conducting it. In order to write the bank clerical exam,you must be eligible for it and the eligibility criteria are: ->The candidate must be a citizen of India ->Candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years. ->For candidates who belong to SC/St category the y should have 21-35 years. ->For candidates who belong to OBC they must have 21-33 years. ->For Ex-service men it is 5 years exception. ->The candidates must have a passed their +2 from a recognized board with 55% aggregate and this may change from bank-bank. If you satisfy all the criteria's then you are eligible for the bank clerical exam. Thanks |

A person more than 25 yrs of age is not eligible for the post of Probationary Officer in the Bank according to the guidelines provided by the bank. 3. Computer Skill :: The applicant must possess a good command over computer applications to be a part of the above mentioned programme. 4. But you will have to fulfill these criteria : 1.You must have minimum 60% arks for appearing all banks. 2.Your age must be within 18 to 28 years. 3.You must be an Indian. The eligibility conditions are written for bank Clerk are:- Age limit: Candidate age must be in between 18 years to 28 years (age relaxation for reserved candidates as per Govt guide lines) Educational Qualification: 12th with 55% marks for General and OBC Candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD |

Re: Am I eligible for Bank Clerk Exam after the completion of 12th? dear friend. eligiblity to seat in exam of bank clerk is not only passed 12th. many bank has eligiblity criteria that you should pass 12th minimum of 60%. so if you got this marks then you are definetly eligible for all bank clerk exams. best of luck.. |

The eligibility criteria for Bank Clerk Exam - 1.Candidate should have 60% marks in 12th . 2. Candidate should pass the 12th from any recognized board. After 12th you can apply for - 1.State bank of India 2.ICICI bank 3.Canara Bank 4.Andhra Bank 5.Central Bank of India The exams are highly competitive .So you need to prepare the following books- 1.R.S.Agarwal 2.R.K.Gupta 3.NCERT Books 4.Reasoning and Aptitude books Thank you |

Re: Am I eligible for Bank Clerk Exam after the completion of 12th? The minimum qualification with which a candidate can appear for Bank Clerk Exam is through 12th class qualification. The selection procedure for Bank Clerk Exam will be by -Written Test -Interview In order to be eligible for Bank Clerk Exam,one should have to secure the minimum percentage as mentioned in the recruitment notification of the Bank. Some banks put minimum of 55% in 12th as the eligibility criteria where as some other banks put a minimum of 60% in 12th as the eligible criteria. There will be somer relaxation in the percentage of marks for the candiates of SC and ST. So, I would suggest you to go through the recruitment notification for clerks of the particular bank whenever the notification comes and apply for the exam if you are eligible. |
