Re: Which book is better for SBI bank exam? How to prepare for bank exam in short period of time?

The most common book prepared by most of the students who are preparing for bank exams are
-Verbal and non verbal reasoning by R.S.Aggarwal
-for aptitude also the books of R.S.Aggarwal

For almost all the bank exams, the exam pattern will be by
-Written test followed by
-Interview.

For written exam of SBI, the questions are from the various categories like
-Reasoning
-Quantitative aptitude
-Computer and marketing knowledge
-general awareness
-general english.

You need to qualify in each of these categories individually. If you fail to qualify even in one of the category, obviously you will not be qualified in the written test.

In short period, i wont say that it is not possible. I will say that it is possible but you have to put strong efforts to prepare for the exam especially with reference to the preparation of general awareness.

In this category, the questions may be based on international affairs, national affairs, winners of various awards and some other aspects.

You have to collect the information on these things or by going through some books which are specially prepared for this purpose like YES publications.

If you are able to qualify in this category, then general English may not be a problem if you are good at reading and understanding English and grammar fundamentals.

Reasoning and aptitude involve more repeated models. You can prepare and can attempt well

As you are saying it in the short time, i suggest the book aptitude by R.S. Agarwal and the non-verbal reasoning by the same author.
