Re: M.Tech aeronautical engineering after getting B.Tech degree in mechanical engineering No doubt. One can pursue Mtech in aerospace engineering after Btech in Mechanical engineering. For doing PG in India One must get through the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). You can get into IISc, IITs or IIST or any other universities according to your GATE all India rank. |

You can do aerospace courses in IIT Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur and Madras. But the M.tech. courses are not available in the field of Aerospace for computer science graduates. Courses are available for non aerospace students also but only for Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or allied branches. So, you won't be able to apply for the aerospace related course. Thank You |
