CDS Exams are conducted twice a year to make recruitments to Indian Defence Services. Candidates are selected for admission to : Indian Militay Academy(IMA) Officers Training Academy(OTA) Airforce Academy Naval Academy Eligibility For CDS Exams : Age Limit : Naval Academy-19-22yrs Airforce Academy-19-23yrs IMA-19-24yrs OTA-19-25yrs There is no relaxation of age limit for any category of candidates. Educational Qualification : Minimum educational qualification is graduation from a recognised University. FINAL YEAR APPEARING/APPEARED CANDIDATES CAN APPLY ON PROVISION. OTA & IMA-graduation in any dicipline from a recognised University/equivalent. Airforce Academy-B.Sc with Physics and/or Maths / B.E. in any discipline from a recognised University. Naval Academy-B.Sc with Maths and Physics/B.E. in any discipline from a recognised University. Exam Scheme : Exam pattern consists of : 1.Written exams and 2.Interviews.  Yes girls can apply for the CDS Examination after graduation. Only then need is to just fulfill the eligibility criteria required for CDS Examination. Here i have mentioned the eligibility criteria required for CDS Examination : a) Educational Qualification : Graduation from any recognized university. b) Age Limit : 18-24 years. c) Nationality : Indian d) Physical Eligibility :  The Pattern Of the CDS Examination is :  this is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

The Eligibility Criteria Required For Appearing this exam are : * You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university * Your age should lie in between 18-24 years. * You must be mentally and physically fit. The eigibility criteria is mentioned below:- cds educational qualifications : 1. For i.m.a. And officers’ training academy-degree of a recognised university or equivalent. 2. For indian naval academy : Degree in engineering. 3. For air force academy : Degree of recognized university (with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level) or bachelor of engineering. Graduates with first choice as army / navy / air force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the ssb interview at the ssb. Candidates who are studying in the final year degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the army hq/rtg. The competitive examination comprises: - i) written examination ii) interview for intelligence and personality test 1. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows: (a) for admission to indian military academy, indian naval academy and air force academy sl. No. Subject duration maximum marks 1 english 2 hours 100 2 general knowledge 2 hours 100 3 elementary 2 hours 100 mathematics (b) for admission to officers’ training academy sl. No. Subject duration maximum marks 1 english 2 hours 100 2 general knowledge 2 hours 100 2. The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (test booklets) of general knowledge and elementary mathematics will be set bilingually in hindi as well as english. 3. In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of weights and measures only will be set. 4. Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them. 5. The commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination. What is the criterion and job options? yes girl can apply fro CDS entrance exam. 1.for that u have to complete ur graduation with more than 60% with any steam 2.fill the form fro cds entrance exam and u should be less than 30 year from 21 year if u think that u can give it without any training than its gud but if u take a training for that they will also tell u how to clear cds and with that they will tell u how to clear SSB also which is more hard than cds written exam |

The exam is conducted by UPSC.The exam is conducted to recruit candidates in public sectors.The exam is conducted for applying in Indian navy,air force and military.The eligibility needed for this exam is: Eligibility: The candidates must be a citizen of India. For Indian Military academy: Only male unmarried candidates with 19-24 years of age are eligible. For Naval academy: Only male unmarried candidates with 19-22 years of age are eligible. For Air force academy: Only male unmarried candidates with 19-23 years of age are eligible. For Officer's training academy: Unmarried or married male candidates with 19-25 years of age are eligible. Education qualification: For Military and Officers training academy: A degree from a recognized university is needed. For Indian Naval Academy: A degree in the field of engineering is needed. As we know that the combined defense service exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy, a women candidate can only apply for the Officers Training Academy. So, being a girl candidate and having done your graduation, you can apply only for the Officers Training Academy. The minimum eligible age is 19 years. The maximum age limit is 25 years.
