Career Options After BE in CS If you want to pursue your career in CS only and want to master your knowledge about all the things in it..then you should go for M.Tech.. For M.Tech you need to appear for GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam and clear it with very good marks in order to get admission into a very good college of your choice and select your desired branch.. Since,you are in the final year of of BE hence,you can appear for the GATE exam this year.. There is no age limit for appearing in GATE and there is also no restriction on the number of attempts you can make to clear this exam.. In case you want to go in for Management then you should try for MBA (Master of Business Administration) For getting admission into a top MBA college you need to clear any of the following exams with a good percentile.. CAT MAT XAT FMS Symbiosis Clearing any of these exams with a good percentile will take you through to a top level MBA college in India.. You can also go in for the elite government services..that is Civil Service Exams According to the UPSC guidelines..a candidate appearing for the Civil Service Exams should satisfy these following criterion 1) the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized college in India 2) The candidate should be within the age limit of 21-30 years for General category..21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST.. Re: Career opportunities after passing B.E in CS? In which exams can I appear for? dear friend, After completion of B.E in computer science stream, you are confused about your future career.. If you want to go for job then you can appear in campus drive of different leading IT companies.. You can get a good job in a leading IT company as a software developer. There are lots of govt. organisations where you can apply for a job like- 1.ISRO 2.DRDO 3.BARC 4.BHEL 5.BEL 6.SAIL 7.GAIL 8.Railways etc.. you can also appear in UPSC civil service exams like- IAS, IPS, IES, IFS etc. If you want to go for higher studies then you can go for M.Tech or MBA course. M.tech:- If you want to gather more knowledge in your technical field then you can go for M.tech course. For that you have to appear in GATE exam. After qualifying in GATE exam you will get a chance to take admission in M.tech course. MBA:- If you have interest in management field then you can go for MBA course. For that you have to appear in entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT etc. So, now it is upon you in which field you want to build your future career. All the best. |
