Re: Am I eligible to do law after completing B.A in Political Science with 49%? You will be able to pursue law course namely LLB since you have completed Bachelor of Arts course. You should know that to pursue LLB course the candidate only need to have bachelor degree. So whether you have completed Bachelor of Arts in Political Science or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical, this is hardly an issue. In both circumstances you can apply for the LLB course. There are two types of LLB course. First one is integrated LLB sometimes referred as BA LLB course. This course has duration of 5 years and can be taken after completing 12th standard. This course is not for you since you have already completed graduation. The integrated LLB course includes a bachelor course like BA or B.com which is why there is no need for you to pursue it. Your focus should be LLB course that has duration of 3 years. This is the course to pursue after completing graduation. But please remember that LLB is only offered via regular mode. The Bar Council of India do not recognize any correspondence degree for the LLB course. Therefore only pursue it through regular mode. Eligibility for LLB 1. Your BA degree is acceptable as qualifying degree. 2. Minimum of 45 percent marks are required. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks. 4. The age limit is 30 years for this course. 5. Five years relaxation is granted to SC/ST. 6. There is no relaxation for OBC. |

Re: Am I eligible to do law after completing B.A in Political Science with 49%? It will depend on the University. A number of universities require 6.5 or 7.0. Universities set their own entry requirements and their websites should give you more information. All British Universities have internet addresses ending ac.uk |
