Hi, As far as married female candidate appear for UPSC entrance exam is concern yes they can apply but for that you should match eligibility criteria below mention Civil Services Exam Will be held in Three Round . 1. Preliminary Exam 2. Main Examination 3. Interview Test 1. Preliminary Exam - This is an objective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, qualifies tothe second phase. 2. Main Exam - This is a subjective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, passes to the third phase after clear this you can go for interview round ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA #Qualification Candidate must have graduation Degree in any stream,No specific marks are required,Final year students are also eligible #.Age Limits For gen-21-30 years For obc- 21-33 years For sc/st- 21-35 years #.Attempts General- 4 Obc- 7 Sc/st- no limit Notification for the next exam will come out on 2nd February 2013 Prelims exams will be held on 19th May 2013 Mains will held on 08-11-2013 |

every Indian candidate male/female appear for upse exam, here i am giving you some information about eligible for that always same for any upse exa. Qualification a graduate with any discipline with recognized university eligible age The upsc civil exam appear candidates age between 21 to 30 years .Age relaxation for SC ,ST ,OBC ,handicapped persons details given below. (i)5 years age relaxable for SC,ST candidates (ii)3 years age relaxable for OBC candidates (iii)5 years age relaxable for defence service personnel . (iv)5 years age relaxable for ECOs /SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years assignment in the military service. (v)5 years age relaxable in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of 5 years in military service. (vi)10 years age relaxable for blind ,deaf .mute and orthopedically ,handicapped persons. so go and apply for any upse entrance exam which belong to your qualificaton. and for more information see EMPLOYMENT NEWS and log on to http:/www.upse.gov.in best of luck. |

As UPSC is conducted many exams i.e NDA, NA, CDS, Civil Services IAS, IPS, IFS , Medical - Engineering Services etc.every year & each exam has its own eligibility criteria so your question is incomplete at the extent that for which exam you are asking for. As most of the exams have no objection about the marital status of the candidate but some of them are restricted too. Re: Can a married female candidate appear for UPSC entrance exam? Yes, You can appear for UPSC Entrance exam provided you meet the other eligible criteria mentioned by UPSC. EG for Civil services Exam you must be a graduate less than 30 years of age if belonging to general category. Refer to the upsc website(www.upsc.gov.in) for additional information regarding the eligibility. |
