As you know In M.tech we have to opt a specialization for an ECE Student the optional subjects are

like

VLSI

EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

DSP/DIP

TELECOMMUNICATION

NETWORKING

these are the five interesting domains for each every student

among these as you stressed on some streams like Embedded Systems and VLSI and also Networking

first we talk about Networking In this it involves many technical oriented terms and other branch especially like IT Networking for example LAN,BlueTooth LAN , Wireless LAN

all these comes under Networking this has a very good scope in near future because India is the top in this regard

yes absolutely we are top in Network protocal designing so there will a bright future if you opt this

coming next

i.e., VLSI

If you want to stay in India then please do not opt this as this is good subject no doubt about but we don't have sufficient job market in this field as we don't have a micro controller designing unit all over india

if you have plans to go out the country and work there then you can definitely do this

Coming to next i.e., Embedded Systems

Pretty famous domain which is the heart of ECE and this can be selected without any doubts but you have to work hard a lot on this because you will have all the five domains interfaced in it

so take care about

think twice and take a wise decision
