To enter into the army you have to write an entrance exam known as NDA. It is conducted every year by UPSC. The educational qualification is 12th standard. The age limit is 18-21 years. Through NDA you can enter into army or navy or airforce. |

If you want to join the Indian Army , the minimum qualification are as follows:- -> 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks. -> Age limitation is between 16.5-19 years. -> Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it. -> Physical standards --> Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion. --> No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight. |

Yes...  sure You can join Indian Army as an officer after passing 12th with commerce group .UPSC(Union Public Service Compassion) conducts NDA(National Defence Academy) exam for Aspirants who wants to join Indian Army, NAVY & Air Force after 12th standard. NDA exam occur twice in a year as NDA I & NDA II. Eligibility conditions for NDA exam:

Important:- Online Application process for NDA exam is in progress. So hurry up.... The selection process for NDA is divded into three stages ---> 1. Written Exam 2. Interview 3. Medical test. Exam Pattern for NDA written test: There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects: 1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs. 2. Yes you are eligible to apply for the Indian Army as an officer after the 10+2 through National Defence academy examination Age limitation is between 16.5 to 19.5 years. For the NDA examination candidate should be 10+2 pass. Those appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for the National Defence academy examination. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it. Minimum height requirement is 157.5 cm with a chest expansion of 5 cm. Eyesight should be 6/6 . Thanks. |

Dear Friend, Sorry to say but no you are not eligiable to join as an officer of Indian Army after 12th commerce as to appear in the NDA exam as the eligibility for a candidates to have marks with Physic, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) with a minimum of 70%. Re: Is it possible to join Indian Army after 12th commerce? hello dear no.you are not eligiable to join as an officer of Indian Army after 12th commerce. as to appear in the NDA exam science background with PCM combination is essentially required. and 60% marks in 12th is required. as you are commerce back ground, so you are not eligiable. all the best............. |
