After doing MCA you can do these courses:- -->>M.Tech. -->>P.HD. In order to do M.Tech Course,you will have to appear in GATE Exam. Eligibility required for GATE Exam is :- ~you should be passed out in MCA Course. ~Your MCA Degree should be from recognized university. Exam Pattern :- ~There will be 3 sections. ~1.General Reasoning and English Language. ~Paper 2 & 3 include questions related to computer applications. For doing P.HD Course,you will have to get pass in UGC-JRF Exam for getting scholarship to do this course from recognized university. Details for UGC-JRF -->>Your age should not be above 28 years. -->>Your minimum marks in MCA Should be 50%. There are various specialization courses which you can do are :- ~In linux/Unix -->>System Administration. -->>Network Administration. ~In ORACLE -->>DBA(Database Administrator). -->>PL-SQL. ~CCNA. ~MCSE. There all courses are available in CDAC at various cities. |

Re: Different fields after MCA Hi friend, MCA stands for Master of Computer Application. There are numerous options after MCA. You can either go for a job or for study. For job, you can apply for any IT companies like IBM, INFOSYS, SATYAM, CYENERGY, YAHOO, GOOGLE etc. Also you can apply for government jobs. You can apply for Defence Services, Police Services, Railways etc. You can also apply in the Bank for the post of PO. You can apply for CDSE i.e. Combined Defence Services Examination. You can join Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy with Officer post through this entry. For higher studies you can go for: MBA-IT CA Ph.D B.Ed M.Phil Also I advice to to keep it touch with upsc.gov.in for the upcoming exams and jobs opportunity etc. I hope the information will help you. Re: Different fields after MCA After completing MCA, you can not go for furthur study because after doing MCA, you can work as a programmer as well as a web designer and you can easily find good job after completing this course. But, if you are interested to go for furthur study, then M.TECH or ME.CSE is best course for you. But, according to me M.TECH is best for you and it was completely different fields after MCA. Re: Different fields after MCA a very waste course and life spoiling course is MCA.beacuse there is no opportuni for MCA graduates in IT sector . and if u want to go as faculty for B.TECH also there no chance to mca qualification eventhough you have experience..Another important thing is further studies after MCA...NOTHING IS GOOD..why because you will loss your complete confidence during MCA..and you will not able to work also because its not possible to you to work for 4 digits salary? so finally after Mca ".....NO LIFE....."...Sometimes mca may be your death game,because of clg faculty and management...So dear brothers and sister don't go for MCA....choose another course and and make parents happy with your growthness... |

You can also do MBA if you want to increase your career prospects. Many short term diploma courses in the relevant field are also available for MCA candidates. If you are interested in job you can apply in the top level IT companies and consultancy firms like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Oracle etc |

Re: Different fields after MCA hi friend, MBA is obvisouly good bt only throudh good colleges...i think u must do mca after bca n that will b more convienient .............MBA is one of the most sorted courses these days and the most well AHEADBUT WHY MBA AND NOT MCA?...Of course, It will be the good way to do so, but the best way . is to do MCA after BCA, because go ahead with the knowledge you are having at this time will be easy to achieve |

Re: Different fields after MCA Boss I think it is not a good approach to do some course after mca, I think you try for a job and get experience. Well if you want to do something after mca than you can do mba(it), you can do M.tech after clear the GATE exams, you can also do P.hd. and you can do diploma course too like CCNA,CAD, SAP etc if you has pursued the course from a very good college such as IIT, NITs ,BITS or IGNOU than you must go for jobs as you will be offered good pay packets but if you have pursued the course from some private college or college which doesn't provide on-campus counselling than you must go for further higher studies i.e. research field I will advice you to go for job obtain experience from one company and than apply in the other which will increase your pay packets enormously !! hope to do well in life !!
