Eligibility:- Candidate should have graduate degree with good percentage from recognized university. Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on the first July of the year of examination. The upper age limit is relaxable sc/st/obc and dc. Procedure to apply:-candidate can apply by the online from given below website. http://www.ssconline.nic.in for more information you can visit:-www.ssc.nic.in Selection Process:- written test or personal interview. Physical Standard: (a) Inspector of Central Excise/Preventive Officer (Male candidates) 1. Physical Standards (Minimum) Height 157.5 cms Chest 81 cms (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, Kumaon Region, Nagaland Tribes and members of ST 2. Physical Test: Walking 1600 metres in 15 minutes Cycling 8 Km in 30 minutes (b) Inspector of Central Excise/Preventive Officer ( female Candidates) 1. Physical Standard: Height 152 cms Weight 48 Kg Height relaxable by 2.5 cm and weight by 2 kg for Gorkhans, Garhwalis, Assamese, Kumaon region and Nagaland Tribes and members of ST 2. Physical Test: Walking 1 km in 20 minutes Cycling 3 km in 2 Exam date: notification may be declear in september month. |

1.The application form was issued on the first week of February 2011 at SSC official website athttp://www.ssconline.nic.in. 2.Last date for filling of the application was 2nd March, 2011.So i think this is not possible to you.
1.you should have any degree of a recognized University, or equivalent.You have done graduation in B.Com ,so you are eligible. Regards, Nithya |

Date is not announced yet for INCOME TAX OFFICER exam. To become Income Tax officer you have to pass the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public. You must be graduate from any discipline from any recognized university. Also your age should be in between 18 years to 27 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
