hello

To Become An Astronauts the minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, science or mathematics from an Recognised institution.

So, If Anyone excellent physical condition who meets the basic qualifications can be selected to enter astronaut training.

For Pilot astronauts must have at least 1,000 hours of experience in jet aircraft, and they need better vision than mission specialists.

So, if you have a Bacholar Degree in engineering, biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, then you can apply for an Astronauts.

To become an astronaut-
1. Your body fitness must be good with a great stamina to work.A good height upto 6'4" is necessory for a pilot and mission specialist.
2. Good academic qualifications like graduate, post graduate & Phds.
3. You must be from the science side in your graduation like medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, aerospace engineering and mathematics.
4. At least 3 years experience is needed to work as a mission specialist.
5. If you wish to be a mission pilot,you have at least 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft, preferably with flight-test experience,
6. You'll have to pass the strict NASA physical as a basic qualification

As i know if you read astronomy in your bachelor degree and did training under an experienced institute then you can become an astronaut.you should have training under an experienced. thank you

hi astonomy is new engineering hence anything which is new hence companies are less hence to get job also is difficult
now to get into big company like NASA you have work relly hard you have to very fit
physically you sould do 1000 hrs of jetflying
and you must hace done graduation or preferably masters for more information you can visit NASA site

To Become an Astronaut the minimum requirement is that you must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, science(specially Physics) or mathematics from an recognized institution/university.
You must be physically and mentally fit.

As i know if you read astronomy in your bachelor degree and did training under an experienced institute then you can become an astronaut.you should have training under an experienced astronaut.

well friend i guess if you want to become an astronaut than better join NASA or after graduation you can take Astro physic and can write exam which is conducted by nasa and also you can join isro which also conducts similar pattern exam...all the best..

to become astronaut first of all you have to study astronomy in graduation level. you have to do some training from any institution to be experience in astronomy.

may be you have to do work under any experienced astronaut. you must study your subject careful to become one successful astronaut.

How to Become an Astronaut????

*The Basic Qualification for Astronaut is (11th and 12th Physics and Mathematic) is Must

*A valid Degree in B.sc Physics and Engineering is Needed

*A good and Valid Project in Aerospace or Rocket will Fetch you Good Plus Point

*Try to do National Winning Project in Physics or Chemistry main topic is Propellant and the Chemical used,try to concentrate more on Trust Force,then you can selected in NASA

*Try to Visit more Implant Training on ISRO,IGCAR and DRDO for that you need to get more then 80% in Degree

You must have the following qualities in you if you a dream to be an astronaut :

1. Bachelor degree in science stream
2. AGE must be within the limits
3. Physically fit always
4. Experience of minimum 1000 hrs in flying.

Above all if you join Indian Air Force you will automatically eligible for your dream

7. If you're accepted as an astronaut candidate, you're committing yourself to a training period of 1 to 2 years in Houston without a guarantee that you'll ever go into space. Training will be intense and often in low-gravity conditions.
8. If you pass the training period and are accepted as an astronaut,prepare to remain with NASA for at least 5 years.

As to become an Astronaut you need to have an impressive academic background. There are few basic requirements to become an astronaut. This includes a bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution in engineering, science or math’s. A Masters degree is more preferred. Lot of hard work is involved in this preparation.
