Re: Various government jobs one can apply after BDS? hello dear After BDS, you may apply for entry in Army Dental Corps(ADC) which includes the dental branch of Navy too. For entry through direct permanent commission, you will need to obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the BDS exam along with 1 year rotatory internship recognised by Dental Council of India. For entry through short service commission, 55% in the BDS exam will do. There is also scope in the reserve police force and other such department. Apart from this you may also apply to government hospitals. You need to keep yourself updated with the UPSC recruitment exams to appear for such exams. thsnk you |

Pay scale ranges from 15,600-39,100 excluding Grade Pay, as per Sixth Pay commission report. For more details you can log on to www.indiagovtjobs.com You can join Following department:- - Army Dental core - C.R.P.F - RAILWAYS - NAVY Eligibility Criteria:- - pass B.D.S with minimum 60% marks with completed one year Internship. - Age should be in between 21-27 year. - Must be citizen of India. Re: Various government jobs one can apply after BDS? u cn get a job in government sector after writing exams like UPSC, State PSCs, SSC, etc. u can also get a job in other departments like railways, defence, etc. since there are not more opportunities for bds students u can also go for a specialization course for a bright future...... |

Re: Various government jobs one can apply after BDS? As far as any branch of study is considered, doing PG course and enriching your knowledge will help you in fulfilling your ambition reasonably. I would suggest you to do MDS and also specialization in various branches of dentistry to apply for a better job. Alternatively you can do diploma course in dental hygienist, certificate course for applying jobs in defence forces. In forensic department, dentist job becomes vital in identification of the dead person, analyzing the dental features, and examining oral, facial structures to find out the nature of injury. You can apply for govt.jobs only through UPSC in Central Govt. or SSC. Pay scale ranges from 15,600-39,100 excluding Grade Pay, as per Sixth Pay commission report.
