IES : Indian Engineering Services examination, this exam is conducetd by UPSC every . this exam is only for those graduates who have engineering degree in any one of the list ,listed below- >> Civil Engineering. >> Mecahnical Engineering. >> Electrical Engineering. >> Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. the age limit for this exam is 21-30 years.there are 5 & 3 years of relaxation for SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively . IMPORTANT DATES- The Notification of IES 2012 Examination will be held on 25/Feb/2012. And the last date of apply for this examination would be on 26/March/2012. Examination will Going to be held on 15/June/2012. The Notification of IES Examination was Published in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC website Every year and Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online By Visit the UPSC website. |

Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by upsc every year once.This exam is conducted to intake qualified engineers for Government sector in different departments. Eligibility criteria for Indian Engineering Service exam: Education qualification: Candidate should have minimum graduation degree in Engineering with either from a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Electronic Communication Age limit: Age should be between 21 to 30 years. Important dates for Indian Engineering Service: Issue of application form from 25th Feb 2012 to 24th March 2012. Exam will held on 15th June 2012 To apply the application form online,then click here (Between the dates as mentioned above) IES exam pattern: Paper-1 For 200 marks,time is 2 hours and objective type question Paper-1 conventional For 200 marks,time is 3 hours and essay type question Paper-2 conventional For 200 marks, time is 3 hours and definitions and medium length questions See this attachment,it contains previous years papers of IES,this gives you complete information about exam pattern as well gives you some idea in preparing for IES exam regarding topic in IES Syllabus. |

IES stands for Indian engineering services which is conducted by union public service commission(UPSC) for which the eligibility is; => you should be engineering graduate in following streams -mechanical -electrical -electronics -civil =>you age should be between 21-30 years important dates regarding 2012 exam ->date for notification- 25-02-12 ->last date of form submission- 26-03-12 ->date of examination- 15-06-12 the selection procedure is done in two steps; 1)written exams there is 3 papers in this exam -general ability test -objective paper -conventional paper 2)interview for more information you can visit the following link; www.upsc.gov.in |
