Hi dear............

As you have passed +2 you are not eligible for LLB course you can go for Integrated law i.e % years course .
I am providing you a carrier chart from where you can get details information about your future......

Educational criteria:

The person should be a graduate like B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. degree with minimum 40% marks (35% for SC / ST).

Post graduates can also do this course, and they will also get a 2% weight age.

Percentage and other criteria may vary depending upon the institute.

1. 3 years LLB degree

2. 5 years integrated LLB Degree.

In 3 years degree, the educational eligibility is a graduate in any stream from a recognized university.

In 5 years degree, a LLB degree is conferred such as "B.A., LL.B. (Honours)", "B.B.A, LL.B. (Honours)", "B.Sc., LL.B. (Honours)", etc.

Both the types of degrees are recognized and are also qualifying degrees for practise of legal profession in India.

The types of jobs that you can get after completing LLB course are:

Advocates,
Munsifs (Sub-Magistrate),
Notary,
Oath Commissioner,
Public Prosecutor,
Solicitors,
Teachers,
Trustees.
Attorney General,
District and Sessions Judge,
Law Reporters,
Legal Advisor's,
Magistrate,

The only eligibility required to appear for CLAT-2011, a candidate should have passed his/her Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).~ Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.° Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability).
It doesnt matter if you had medical/non-medical/arts/commerce background in 12th. The remaining law colleges like NLUO, NLUD, etc hav similar criteria. All the best!

It doesnt matter, what background you had in your 12th if you wish to do BA LLB. Simply appear for entrance examinations which hold them else go for colleges who admit students based on their marks scored in 12th. But the minimum marks for writing CLAT for admission in National Law Universities is 50% for general and 45% for reserved category. All the best!

Hello,

After 12th standard you can get admission in BA LLB course but its course duration is 05 Years.

According to my opinion, after 12th standard you can do B.Sc. or B.Com. or B.A. or equivalent then do BA LLB course.

Eligibility for BA LLB exam: -

1. Nationality - Indian

2. Pass graduation in any subject or equivqlent with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a recognised institute / university.

3. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

NOTE: - Final year appearing candidates can also apply for BA LLB exam.

Re: Eligibility for BA LLB after 12th(Non-Medical)

there are various law schools which offers 3 years or 5 years integrated programs like B.A LL.B. (Honours), B.B.A LL.B. (Honours), B.Sc LL.B. (Honours)

Practically all universities offer the part time three-year LLB course for graduates.

Generally, eligibility for this is on the basis of marks scored at the graduation examinations. However, there are some universities that conduct entrance tests too

but you are eligible for 5 Year LLB Course.

these are some of best colleges ::

National University of Advanced Legal Studies
KIIT Law School Admission Test (KLSAT)
Banaras Hindu University Faculty of Law
West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences Entrance Exam
National Law Institute University Entrance Examination
National Law University (NLU) Entrance Test
Amity Law School Entrance Exam
Symbiosis Law School Entrance Exam
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
University of Delhi

dear friend
you need not any special study after 10+2 for doing PG in law. Just complete you graduation in any stream with good percentage and apply for llb and if you come in a specific criteria of merit list then you can do it as a regular student otherwise you can do it through distance education if you are having low percentage in graduation.
good luck
